In late 2015, Boy Smells was born out of a creative experiment in homemade candle production by co-founders and partners Matthew Herman and David Kien in their Los Angeles kitchen. Both experienced in the world of fashion, they set out to create daily essentials that were both fluid and accessible. Their unique scents add a delicate touch to traditionally masculine fragrances. Each Boy Smells candle is meticulously crafted in Los Angeles, using natural oils and a proprietary blend of all-natural coconut wax and beeswax. With a reusable glass vessel and hand-labeling in Los Angeles, California, each candle sets the stage for a luxurious experience.
