Truly tired to press citruses without a proper tool, Larry Tchogninou designed and developed a citrus squeezer to transform the task into a pleasure.

Inspired by the "S" shape that a bird's neck forms with its beak, Tchogninou saw a vessel in that expression, and captured it in this object. Made to squeeze any citrus (lemon, lime, oranges...etc), this object aims to blend art, design, emotion, and utility in unexpected ways.

A decorative veil exploring the contradiction between function and expression. It can sit in a kitchen as utensil or on a stand as art. You decide what it is!

Larry Tchogninou is a polymath multidisciplinary creative, product designer, and architecture student from Benin who has lived in Chicago since 2018. He is currently completing his Bachelors of Architecture at IIT (Illinois Institute of Technology). His work is an ode to optimism. His goal is to constantly show that it is never late for new ideas.

It is a new way to approach product design. Not a brand, but a philosophy. A different way to think and reimagine the familiar.
